Did you see the Observer on TV this week?
We were featured on Wales This Week on Monday as ITV Wales reporter Lynn Courtney investigated what makes some local newspapers a success, while others face closure because of declining circulations, loss of advertising revenue and increased competition from digital media.
As part of the programme, Lynn visited the Observer to interview our owner, Sir Ray Tindle, about how he originally saved the paper and why local papers, like the Observer, remain popular.
"The programme highlighted the important role that the Observer plays in community life," said our general manager, Andy Adamson.
"We have had lots of positive feedback from the programme which we enjoyed being part of."
