We could all do more to protect our homes and property from thieves.
BBC1 is making a new information-packed crime prevention series giving people the chance to improve their home security. Working in conjunction with local police forces and crime prevention units, our team of experts will visit homes around the country to identify the security risks that make a burglar's job easier. The team will then carry out a free security makeover, leaving the home better protected from thieves.
We are looking for families, couples and singles or housemates who are interested in taking part in the series. Filming will take place this winter and will take a few days.
