CELEBRATING their diamond wedding anniversary on Thursday, October 15, are Bobby and Peggie Main, of Pembroke Dock.

The couple met locally when Bobby was a member of the Royal Gate House Hotel Dance Orchestra and they were married 60 years ago next Thursday at St. Mary's Church, Tenby.

Bobby hailed from Pembroke Dock, while Peggie lived in Cresswell Street, Tenby.

The couple have four children, sons Robert and Jonathan and twin daughters Stephanie and Christine, three grandsons and two great-grandsons.

They will be celebrating their anniversary with a blessing at St. Teilo's Church, Pembroke Dock, followed by a family luncheon.
