A St. Clears couple have been congratulated by the chairman of Carmarthenshire County Council on reaching their Diamond Wedding anniversary. Clr. Roy Llewellyn visited Willie and Muriel Evans at their home in Green Gables. He said: "We had a very warm welcome at their home where many members of their family had gathered. I thoroughly enjoyed a very interesting conversation with Mr. and Mrs. Evans about days gone by and had the opportunity to wish them health and happiness for the future."
