Celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary yesterday (Thursday) were Kilgetty couple Brian and Yvonne Cotter.

Brian and Yvonne, both originally from Cardiff, made their home there with their three daughters, for 40 years, before semi-retiring to the Albany Hotel in Tenby.

They ran the hotel successfully with two of their daughters for seven years, before fully retiring to their home in Kilgetty, only a short distance from Pentlepoir, the place in which they honeymooned 60 years previously.

Brian and Yvonne celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in style at St. Bride’s Hotel and Spa, Saundersfoot, where most of their family of three daughters, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren had gathered to surprise them with a party and a card from HM The Queen herself!
