The Tenby in Bloom committee have launched a competition amongst local schools in honour of one of the town's former Mayors, the late Denzil Griffiths. The committee have purchased daffodil bulbs for all the schools to plant in their grounds, with the best display to be judged next spring. The Griffiths family have put up an award for the best school, who will receive 'Denzil's Daffodil Trophy' for their efforts. Tenby in Bloom chairman, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, hopes the event will become an annual competition for the schools to take part in.
