At the end of Saturday, the Delton Challenge team who have been carrying eight-year-old Delton, who suffers from spina bifida, along the whole of the Pembrokeshire coast, received a very warm welcome from Josh at The Golden Lion in Newport, where refreshments were enjoyed.

The finish line at St. Dogmael’s was reached late Sunday evening after a gruelling hike along the coastal path.

To date, The Delton Challenge has raised over £4,000 to be distributed between Withybush Hospital, Shine and Crossroads Care.

More donations are still being received, and we will update the total as soon as possible. Many thanks to everyone who has donated, and thanks again to all the teams who gave up their weekends to join The Delton Challenge.
