CONGRATULATIONS to sister and brother Gwenivere and Hugh Winship, of Templeton, who have both recently graduated from Aberystwyth University.

Gwenivere gained a Bsc hons in biology and an Msc in managing the environment, while Hugh gained a Bsc hons in geography.

Both are former pupils of Templeton Primary School and Dyffryn Taf in Whitland and are the son and daughter of Helen and Stephen Winship, of Templeton.

CONGRATULATIONS to Stephanie Westwood who recently received a BA Hons 2:1 in fashion and design from West Wales School of the Arts, Coleg Sir Gar.

While undertaking her degree course, Stephanie was a finalist in the 2009 Miss Wales contest, raising £1,200 for charity through a sponsored kayak and was also Miss Welsh Specsaver 2009, becoming one of the 10 finalists in the International Spectacle Wearer of the Year contest.

Stephanie, who is the daughter of Mrs. Sheila Westwood and Mr. Paul Westwood, has built up a modelling career which has seen her appear in Welsh, Spanish and London based magazines, model for High Street shops, appear on S4C features, take part in fashion shows, and model on the catwalk during London Fashion Week.

A former pupil of Pembroke School, Stephanie is off to Thailand in the autumn to both travel and undertake some volunteer work at a childrens orphanage.

Her itinerary includes a trek through the jungle on the back of an elephant.

Congratulations to Helen Jones who has recently graduated from UWIC with a First Class Honours Degree in Social Work.

She is the daughter of David and Muriel Jones, of Templeton, and sister of Christopher.

Helen has secured a position with Newport City Council.

PICTURED is Gemma Bailey who has just completed her professional certificate in education (with a merit) at the University of Glamorgan.

Gemma is a former pupil of Tenby Junior School and Greenhill School, Tenby.

She swam for Pembrokshire with Tenby Dolphins and attained her national diploma in childcare at Pembrokeshire College.

Gemma is the daughter of Sue Dillon and Michael Bailey, both of whom live in Tenby, sister of Peter, and granddaughter of Bill Bailey.
