Congratulations to David Nicholas, who recently graduated from Bangor University, receiving the Degree of Master of Engineering in Electronic Engineering.

Also congratulations on winning the university's 'Dr David Owen Prize for 2010' awarded to the student who produced the 'most outstanding performance in a physics related subject' in the School of Electronic Engineering.

David attended Jeffreyston VC School, Ysgol Greenhill School, Tenby and Pembrokeshire College. He is a past secretary of Martletwy YFC and a past member of 1st Kilgetty Scout Group, joining as a Beaver and finishing as Senior Patrol Leader with the Scouts.

He is also a past member of Pembrokeshire Paddlers - which undoubtedly helped him achieve his university colours in water polo and kayaking!

David is the eldest son of William and Pauline Nicholas and the grandson of John and Phyllis Nicholas, of Dynaston Farm, Martletwy.

ALSO PICTURED is Bethan Tebbutt who has recently graduated from Trinity College, Carmarthen, with a 2:2 in health and exercise.

A former pupil of St. Teilo's RC School and Greenhill School, Tenby, Bethan is the daughter of Ruth and Mike Tebbutt and sister of Rhiannon.

AND CONGRATULATIONS to Sue Smith who recently graduated from the University of Glamorgan with a Masters Degree in Management.

Sue is married to Russell, mother to Kiefer and the daughter of the late Megan and Bill Langen.
