On a glorious summer day at Llanelli recently, Denise Faulkner, of Manorbier, was awarded her BA (Hons) degree in art and design, University of Wales, gaining a 2:1. In the picture with her is her son, Andrew, who gained his BSc (Hons) in architecture, University of Wales, in July 2004, also with a 2:1. Both are continuing with their studies, and Denise particularly thanks her sons and friends for their fantastic support and encouragement. From September, her work can be seen at Exposure Art Gallery, Swansea, as part of a local graduates show.
