Pembrokeshire fundraisers the Three Amigos have paid tribute to a former member who passed away recently by purchasing a public defibrillator close to his home.

“Sadly one of our Amigos, Brian Craig, passed away suddenly from a heart attack last September - he had been an Amigo for quite some time and put his all into everything we do, and we were all deeply shocked and saddened by his passing,” explained one of his former colleagues, Terry Morris.

“His wife Kath asked that all monies in lieu of flowers at his funeral be given to the Three Amigos as our work was something Brian felt strongly about.

“We passed the hat about on the day of the funeral and his friends, family and the bikers who attended were more than generous.

“At our next Amigos meeting we decided to purchase a defibrillator and site it close to Brian’s home as part of his legacy.

“Tony Wall from Tenby and Saundersfoot First Responders supplied and fitted it for us and provide a care package for the life of the defibrillator.

“We hope it never gets used, but should it ever be needed, Brian would be so happy that he left something good for someone in need,” added Terry.

The defibrillator will be sited on the wall of Newings Funeral Directors, Dartmouth Street, Milford Haven.
