A defective light in one of the turrets on Tenby's historic town walls, which has been out for a number of months, desperately needs replacing according to a local councillor. "It needs to be illuminated as it is pitch black in that area of the South Parade and could prove to be a health and safety hazard for anyone walking along there at night," said Clr. Damian Brown at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council. The town clerk told members that he had reported the matter to Pembrokeshire County Council on numerous occasions, but would this time put the council's concerns in a letter.
