The church is still worshipping in the church hall, while there is still a wait for a spare part for the boiler system. The welcome and family news were given by Miss Sue Lawdon, who also led the worship with her chosen hymns and chorus. The Junior Lightseekers Sunday Club enjoyed a separate time together under the leadership of Mrs. Rhonwyn Evans and Mrs. Jackie Emlyn. The preacher was Mr. Gary Emlyn, one of the leaders in the church, who gave a stirring sermon based on words found in Proverbs, an Old Testament book written by King Solomon. 'Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and shun evil' and 'Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.' The Christian is encouraged not to lean to his own understanding or to be unduly troubled by opinions of others when their views or advice is contrary to the basic tenants of ones faith. The service concluded with a time of prayer remembering situations both local and national.
