The very inclement weather did not prevent a goodly number attending worship on Sunday. They were welcomed by Mrs. Jeanne Grimes, who also linked her experiences of a recent holiday with some of the words in Psalm 121 'I will lift up my eyes to hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord the Maker of heaven and earth.'

The worship was discerningly led by Mrs. Sally Lloyd, who also chose the songs. This was followed by a time of open prayer keenly presided over by Mrs. Helen Hills.

The sermon was given by Mr. Steve Whitton from Pendine, Steve is a young Christian and it was encouraging to hear him using his talents to share God's word. Steve based his message on the story of the birth of the Apostle John found in Luke's gospel. He encouraged his listeners to copy the faith of John's mother, Elizabeth, together for Christians to realise the presence of the Holy Spirit with them as they work inside and outside the church.

The Parent Toddler Group meets on Thursday mornings in the church hall from 10 am until 12 noon.

This Sunday, the morning service will be at 10.45 am and everyone is welcome to join the United Churches service for Christian Unity to be held in St. Teilo's Church, South Parade, at 6 pm.
