The church hall was the venue for the last service of the year because a fault had developed with the church heating system. This enabled the congregation to appreciate even more what had been planned, an informal time together. The worship time was in charge of Mr. Kevin Adams and he was accompanied on the guitar by Mrs. Sally Lloyd. The theme, which is what many people copy, was to look back over the past year, and endeavour to look forward into the coming one. Several people contributed either, from readings from scripture, or by reciting instances from their personal experiences. The conclusions were that God had been a great provider over the previous year and in the New Year His people could know direction and strength to meet all situations. This Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Evans from Neath will be leading the service. They will bring an update on the work in the Ugandan orphanage which the church supports.
