Mrs. Helen Hills was welcomed back from her fortnights visit to Uganda.

The hymns of worship which the congregation heartily enjoyed singing reflected the matters found in the Bible reading for the day.

Mr. Chris Llewellyn contained his sermons on Paul's letter to the Galatians. In chapter 3, Paul ridicules the Jewish Christians for the manner in which they are attempting to develop their Christian faith. They were disserting their clear trust in Jesus alone for progress, returning to their old ways of trying to attain perfection by keeping the Jewish traditions, the Law. Paul empathises the righteousness that is given to believers in Christ alone.

Recordings of our services are proving popular and are available on CDs. There will be no Tuesday evening Bible study and prayer meeting next week as there is a church meeting for members on Wednesday.
