A touch of autumnal weather did not deter several visitors from visiting the district and worshipping on Sunday morning. A warm greeting, given to all, by Mrs. Carol Ansell was much appreciated.

After introducing the service, the secretary, Mr. Bryn Rees, welcomed the visiting preacher for the day, Mr. Mick Quirk from Broadmoor.

The music group led the worship time and the prayer session was guided by Mrs. Eiron Kinnard, who also spoke about some of the work done by the missionary group 'Open Doors'.

Malcolm, in his sermon, chose as his subject the Christian 'Hope'. This speaks of certainty rather than its normal meaning uncertainty. Hope for the Christian is the expectation of the fulfilment of all the promises of Jesus in the gospels, including that of eternal life. The service concluded by celebrating the Lord's Supper.
