Visitors from different areas of the British Isles and regular worshippers were welcomed by Mrs. Carol Ansell. Mr. Chris Llewellyn introduced the service. The music group accompanied the worship. Prayer time was led by Mrs. Eiron Kinnard, which included a video illustrating the commitment of a father and his spastic son in raising funds for Open Doors.

Chris continued his series of addresses on Daniel, the reading being taken from chapter 4. Chris developed the incident in this chapter which told of a period in the life of Nebuchadnezzar when he suffered a period of insanity and turned away from God. He recovered and he 'praised the most High; honoured and glorified him who lives for ever.'

The story illustrates that no one is beyond God's grace and pride can be an impediment to God working in our lives.

There will be Bible study on Tuesday, and parent toddlers will meet on Thursday as usual.

This weekend, the church, together with other churches in the town, will be contributing to the flower festival in St. Mary's and the Songs of Praise on Sunday evening at 5 pm. For further information, please ring 843392.
