Mr. Gerald Duffett gave a greeting to visitors and friends on entering the church and led the service including the prayer time. The music group accompanied the worship.
The lesson was read by Mr. Michael Jones from Genesis Chapter 3. The content of his sermon was based on this passage under three headings, First the Character of God, secondly the Commands of God, thirdly the consequences of ignoring the commands of God.
Michael pointed out that the nature of mankind today was similar to the persons referred to in the reading namely, they really speak about the Holy God mentioned in Genesis, the commands of God illustrating the life style He desires, are often ignored and thirdly the consequences are plain to see.
Bible study group will met in the church Hall on Tuesday at 7.30 pm, and the parent toddler group on Thursday from 10 am as usual.
