Mr. Gerald Duffett greeted visitors and friends on entering the church. Mr. Chris Llewellyn introduced the service, music accompanists and singers for the worship were Tessa Ovenden, Barbara Willcox, Pam Holmes and Frank Howard. Prayers were offered, remembering situations both local and worldwide.
Mr. Michael Jones read from the first chapter and book in the Bible, Genesis.
In his sermon, Michael emphasised the unique new spiritual creation that a person is when they become a Christian. He listed some of the characteristics that are unique, distinguishing them from non Christians.
The parent toddler group will not now met until after Easter.
On Good Friday, April 10, together with other churches in the town, the church will take part in the united March of Witness, calling at the main churches on the way to the centre of the town. The march starts at 10 am in Deer Park.
