Worshippers came from as far afield as Jameston in the west to Pendine in the east. Each was welcomed at the door by Mr. Gerald Duffett. Inside our Church Hall we meet around tables and chairs set out in the style of a café.

Mr. Chris Llewellyn led the service, while the music was ably provided by Mrs. Jan Llewellyn, Mrs. Tessa Ovenden, Miss Barbara Willcox and Mr. Frank Howard. The worship songs' words, together with suitable background scenes, were projected on to a screen by Mr. David Kinnard. The songs and hymns were focused upon the Lord Jesus Christ, who died on the cross and by whose shed blood our sins can be forgiven.

After leading the time of Open Prayer (which culminated in the Lord's Prayer), Chris read Genesis chapter 15 and explained both the setting and the significance of how the covenant was given by God to Abram. He highlighted that Abram had glaring faults and also told God about his misgivings. Yet the Lord graciously allowed Abram's faith to be turned into righteousness. That simple truth was brought by the apostle Paul to the notice of Christians in the Early Church at Rome.

Refreshments, supervised by Mrs. Phyllis Duffett, were served after the service, giving people the opportunity to chat informally.

During school term time, the Parent-Toddler Group meets in the Church Hall each Thursday between 10 am and noon. Also that is where the Prayer and Bible Study meeting is held weekly in each Tuesday starting at 7.30 pm.

The speaker this Sunday is Mr. Michael Jones.
