Mr. Gerald Duffett welcomed, on a bright sunny morning, friends entering the church. Mrs. Phyllis Duffett introduced the service which involved quite a number of regular worshippers taking a leading role.
The worship group was responsible for the musical parts of the service. Other contributions were from Mr. Bryn Rees, Mr. Frank Howard, Mr. Gerald Duffett, Miss Pam Holmes and Mrs. Monica Scott.
A number of Deer Park's regular attendees were away at conferences or visiting friends and relatives.
The Parent Toddler Group meets as usual on Thursday mornings in the Church Hall.
