The coldest Sunday of the year so far, brought the regular worshippers to the service, but for the first time for many Sundays no visitors were present. The family news and prayer time were led by Mrs. Carol Ansell, the music and worship time being in the capable hands of Tessa, Barbara, and Nan.

The reading and sermon were given by Mr. Michael Jones, who has visited the church on many occasions recently. Michael read from John's Gospel, chapter 1, and his sermon was based on verse 29, 'Look the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world'.

Michael gave a meaning to each section of the verse in detail, e.g. Look, is a way of introducing people to Jesus, the lamb of God, referring to sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross and the last astounding phrase, 'takes away the sin of the world', which for the Christian provides assurance of the freedom to approach a Holy God. 

The parent toddler group met on Thursday and had an enjoyable time.
