On a morning which saw the church surrounded by mist, friends were welcomed by the door steward Mrs. Carol Ansell. The congregation was some what depleted due to the illness of several members.
The introductory section of the service was led by the church secretary who also led the time of open prayer.
The songs and music were in the capable hands of the worship group. Mrs. Pam Holmes led the singing.
Mr. John O'Neill from Pembroke Dock read the lesson and gave the sermon. John read the familiar story from Matthew's Gospel concerning the miraculous incident when Peter walked on the water to Jesus, but Peter's faith became weak and he began to sink.
Christians walk by faith in this troubled world and John encouraged us to give God entry points into our lives through prayer by reaching out to Jesus and we too will experience miracles.
Toddlers will meet as usual on Thursday morning in the church hall.
