Beautiful weather and the door stewards, Mrs. Carol Ansell and Mr. Gerald Duffett, greeted worshippers, several of them holiday visitors. Family news was given by Mrs Helen Hills. The worship time was led by the worship group, Mrs. Tessa Ovenden, Mrs. Ann Pattenden and Barbara Wilcox. The children then left the main church to continue their own service under the direction of Mrs. Duffett. Prayer time was led by Mrs. Helen Hills when the situation in Zimbabwe was especially remembered. The visiting preacher, Mr. John O'Neill from Pembroke Dock, took as his subject 'The second coming of Christ', basing his remarks on words found in Acts and those of the writings of Paul to the church in Thessalonica. The parent toddler group, which meets on Thursday mornings from 10 until 12 noon, continues to have a very pleasant and enjoyable time.
