On a warm sunny day in January, Mrs. Jean Grimes, door steward, welcomed friends on Sunday. The theme for the morning service was 'worship'. Pastor Tom Torok reminded the congregation that one worships God first for who he is and then for all that he has done.

Following the writer of the book of Hebrews words, 'let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe'.

The pastor recalled the words of Jesus that to God acceptable worship is worship done in spirit and truth, God being active in worship. The writer of Hebrews emphasised that thanksgiving moves to sacrifice and we offer God, our manner of living, marriage, wealth and status, as acts of worship. Some of these aspects of worship were reflected in the music and prayers during the service.

Friends of the church joined with other fellowships in the town, during the week for Christian Unity, in communion services both in St. Mary's Parish Church and the Salvation Army Hall.

This Sunday, friends and members of all the churches in the town are encouraged to meet at 6 pm in the Salvation Army Hall for a united service. For details of activities for the coming week, 'phone (01834) 845838 or visit the website http://www.dpbtenby.co.uk">www.dpbtenby.co.uk.
