Despite the inclement weather, the numbers attending worship was not affected. Mr. Keith Evans from Neath led lively worship, Mrs. Margaret Rees gave the Bible reading and the prayers were led by Mr. Dene Hardwick.

The Pastor, Mr. Tom Torok, took as his theme church government. In the early church, all members were called saints, but some were leaders 'overseers', 'deacons.' Basing his remarks from the letters of Paul to Timothy, he noted that the Bible is more interested in the character of those governing church affairs than charisma. Leaders should be 'above reproach,' they should model Christ. They should promote health within the church and endeavour to build a loving community showing Christ's protective care.

Several personal qualities, not given to drunkenness, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money were required of leaders in the early church. Four Bible cell groups are held each week and the Parents and Toddlers group meet on Thursday morning.
