The Pastor Tom Torok welcomed visitors and led the worship time on Sunday. The guest speaker was Mr. Shawn Meredith, representative of Tear Fund in Wales. Using a picture of a mother and her young child, who lives in Malawi, he illustrated to the young people in the church the difficulties of living in a country where HIV is rampant. Yet relief was possible with help from the richer countries of the world.

Among the prayers, which were led by Mrs. Eirion Kinnard, thanks were expressed for the recovery from a recent operation of Mrs. Jose Booth, yet concern was given to a three-year-old who is suffering with cancer.

Mr. Meredith took some of the teaching of Jesus found in Mark's Gospel, Chapters 9 and 10. Comparing the worldly view of greatness with that of Jesus's, his teaching was that the truly great people are those who are prepared to serve others.

Jesus showed us that the standard of greatness was the standard of the cross - the way of suffering. The true servant is the slave of all.

After church many members of the Junior Lightseekers Sunday Club enjoyed a pizza lunch and then went to the bowling alley near Canaston Bridge.  Further details of all activities can be found on website http://www.dpbtenby.co.uk">www.dpbtenby.co.uk.
