The theme of the address given by the pastor, Mr. Tom Torok, on Sunday, was taken from what is reputed to be the first book written in the Old Testament, Job.

The book centres on the heart of Job, we see God's view of Job, 'there is no one on earth like him', and that of Satan which was that of self-love. He tells God to 'stretch out your hand and strike out everything he had, and he will surely curse you to your face'.

As the story unfolds in terrible suffering for Job, he still confesses his love for God and he will walk with him.

For Christians, the character of integrity typified in Job's life is encouraged in the New Testament book of James. 'Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him'.
