Sir,

One's view of the proposed Atlantic Array is necessarily subjective - some like wind turbines, some hate them. In a free country all are entitled to their views. Few, however, would choose to live without electricity.

And when considering such matters, factual accuracy is important.

Last week's correspondent seemed to imply that the ultimate decision on the proposed Atlantic Array will rest with the Welsh Government.

It is my understanding that as this project exceeds 50MW the decision will be made by the Westminster Government and any representations either for or against should be made accordingly.

It is pointless to criticise the Welsh Government regarding issues over which they have no control.
