Two local lads will be making their marathon debut on September 1 in the Cardiff Marathon.
Nick Lloyd, manager of Pembroke Dock and Tenby Jobcentres, and Tony Harris, grocery supervisor at the Tenby branch of Somerfield, will be running the 26 miles in aid of Cancer Research UK (Cymru).
Both Nick and Tony have given up playing football for Tenby AFC in recent years and they say the motivation for running the marathon, apart from obviously raising money for a worthy cause, will be to keep the middle-age pounds off!
