Letting nature take its course has resulted in a fine fundraiser for Dean Deakin.

Dean, 57, who owns Saundersvale Caravan Park, Saundersfoot, has raised over £1,000 for Cancer Research just by growing a beard!

“I started growing a beard in December, and by the end of the month people started asking me if I was doing it for charity, as I‘m normally clean-shaven,” he explained.

“That wasn’t originally my plan, but I usually do some fundraising at this time of year, so I thought it was an easy way, and the donations have just kept coming in!”
