The De Valence Pavilion is on the lookout for new board members for the venue's Trust.
Clr. Paul Rapi, who represents Tenby Town Council on the Trust's board of directors, told this to his council colleagues on Tuesday night.
Clr. Rapi reported that he had attended a recent meeting of the board and that former Chevron public affairs manager, Phil Thompson, had been elected onto the Trust's board.
"It's good for the board to have such a recognisable person involved, especially with all his contacts across Pembrokeshire," said Clr. Rapi.
The recent meeting of the council's De Valence sub-committee was also discussed by councillors, with the topic regarding the office arrangements for the photocopier use brought up again.
A debate over the shared office photocopier used by both the town council and staff of the De Valence Trust, had previously sparked off a row, with the Trust believing that they should be able to use the photocopying facility when the council office was closed, while the Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, felt that the Trust staff should not have access to the office out of hours, for confidentiality and security reasons.
When discussing the matter on Tuesday, councillors agreed that the arrangement should remain the same and that the Trust staff should have no access to the council office out of hours.
