Having already established a reputation for hosting wedding receptions, the De Valence has now been granted a Civil Licence.

The Upper Frog Street venue was delighted to learn recently that Pembrokeshire County Council has granted it a licence to hold civil weddings, civil partnerships, naming ceremonies and reaffirmation of vows, as it enables their dedicated wedding co- ordinator, Cath Graham, of Make It Pretty, to offer brides and grooms the complete package.

The De Valence can start your fairytale dream by offering a choice of three different rooms for the ceremony - the Mayor's Parlour (pictured above), featuring the magnificent backdrop of the historic town walls, the balcony and the main hall itself.

"For the past two years I have raised the profile of the De Valence for weddings and transformed the venue," explained Cath. "The beauty of the De Valence is that it is essentially a blank canvas which gives it enormous potential.

"I am looking forward to setting the scene and creating the atmosphere that couples will cherish forever."
