The Jazz Radio Tatung Tenby and District Darts League Finals and Presentations were held at the town's DSS Club on Friday night. Six finals were contested in a keen and sporting manner, with the trophies presented after each final.

First on stage was the J. Badham Captains Cup (all games a double to start, 5 x 501) between Liz Williams and Steve Hughes, both from the Swanlake. A closely contested match was won by Steve 3-0. Pat Dart Three-a-Side Shield (3 x 601): Swanlake A (R. Muskett, Jim Williams, J. Bradfield) v Swanlake B (S. Hughes, Jas Williams, P. John). As expected, this was a keenly contested final, going into a third and deciding game, which was eventually won by the B team 2-1. Jim Williams chalked up a maximum 180. Tenby House Masters Cup (3 x 501): Rudi Tuz (Jeff) 1 Phil John (DSSC) 2. This match was also keenly contested, again going to a deciding game, which was won by Phil to win his second Masters Cup final.

A. James Cup (7 x 501): Steve Hughes (Swanlake) v Tim Barton (Diggers Bar). Another well contested match, with Steve in top form, winning four games to one.

Dilwater Pairs Cup (7 x 501): Les Langford/Mark Thomas (Cross P) v Steve Hughes/James Bradfield (Swanlake). In a closely fought game, the Cross went into a 2-1 lead, but missed doubles in the next cost them a 3-1 lead as the Swanlake levelled the score at 2-2. They then took the next two games to take the cup 4-2.

M. Thomas Singles Cup (7 x 501): Mike Hale (Cross P) v Pete Robinson (Cross P). This was a close and keenly contested final between two team-mates. Pete took an early lead, but each time he did, Mike pulled a game back to level at 2-2. The next two games were close affairs, before Mike clinched victory 4-2.

Trophies were presented by members of the committee, Mr. Julian Roberts and Mrs. Chris Feenan.

MC for the night was Chris Birch (Jeff) who did a professional job on the mike, assisted by markers P. Watkins, D. Collier, R. Muskett, Jim Williams and Jas Williams.

The raffle was organised and run by Liz Williams and Kelly John (Swanlake).
