THERE's a chance to dance the night away and raise money for local pre-school children after Narberth's Winter Carnival this year.
Top South Wales ceilidh band, Rough Edge, will be playing at Narberth RFC after the carnival on Saturday, November 30, to raise money for the local Welsh playgroup Cylch Meithrin Arberth.
Rough Edge, who draw their members from Pembrokeshire and Swansea, have consistently succeeded in persuading audiences on to their feet to enjoy their brand of high-energy Celtic music over 20 years.
The current line-up features mandolin maestro John Jeater, one of the group's founder members, along with one of the scene's wittiest and most popular callers, Nigel Howarth.
Irish pipes player Eifion Jenkins and fiddler Joy Jenkins, both based in Pembrokeshire, also figure along with keyboards and a range of percussion.
Music and dances come from Wales, Ireland, England and Brittany and caller Nigel leads everyone through the moves.
Tickets are available from the Kirkland Arms, Narberth, or on the door.
