Preparations are well underway for this year's 'Daffodil Festival' to be held at St. Johns Church in Tenby from February 28 to March 2. This annual event is sure to once again attract interest from people in the local area; although in the past even a lady has travelled from America to participate!

The main organiser, Ann Maggs, is currently visiting Australia, but before she went, she delegated some duties to other members of the working party who are progressing the plans and publicity material. The theme for the displays this year is 'The Family' and the church will once again be filled with 10,000 daffodils enhanced by interpretive scenes depicting aspects and events in the life of families. There will, of course, be supporting activities over the four days of the festival, with the addition of a coffee morning and sale of the famous Welsh cakes outside the church, weather permitting. On the Sunday, the finale of the festival will be the usual Cymanfa Ganu supported by local choirs and singing groups.
