Sir,
I am writing to thank the people of Pembrokeshire for their generosity during Marie Curie Cancer Care's Great Daffodil Appeal collections, which took place throughout February and March.
The appeal raised an amazing £2,342 in Pembrokeshire, through collections at local supermarkets and in the town centres.
I would like to say a special thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers who take to the streets every year to raise a fantastic amount for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
In addition, my thanks go to the people of Pembrokeshire who have donated towards the Great Daffodil Appeal and who have worn their daffodil with pride.
This money will help us to continue to raise funds for the Marie Curie Research Institute, where world class scientists are investigating how cancer develops to find better ways of treating the disease in the future. Every hour of every day, the charity is making a real difference to the lives of people with cancer and their families across the UK.
