DUE to medical advice, local woman Debra Sanderson who had been planning to undertake the challenge of a lifetime by cycling 300 miles from London to Paris to raise vital funds for the charity, Action Medical Research, has had to withdraw from the race. However, a volunteer replacement has come forward, Ollie Simon, a lifeguard at Tenby Leisure Centre, where Debra works, who thankfully will now take her place. A total of £705 has been banked for Action Research, which gives help to Huntingdon's Disease and was chosen by Debra because a close friend and ex-colleague Paul Murch, has been diagnosed with the disease. If anyone does request a refund of monies sponsored, please contact Debra at the centre on 843575.
