NARBERTH's Queen's Hall welcomes back the award-winning Cambridge Footlights for an evening of cutting-edge comedy with their new production, 'Today Of All Days', which promises to be yet another sell-out for Footlights.

The show starts in a spooky old pub on a dark and dismal evening, taking the hero on an hilarious odyssey through the heart of the jungle into the depths of the ocean and is told by means of four inter-connected sketches.

The director is Paul King, who is currently working on Hostages, a new sit-com for the BBC.

The Footlights company are famous for producing many of the biggest names varying from the style of Peter Cook through to the outrageous anarchy of Ali G. Last year's production, 'Far too Happy' (also at Queen's Hall), was nominated for the Perrier Award, for Best Newcomers.

The show once again gives local audiences a chance to catch one of the highlights of the Edinburgh Festival and maybe witness the emergence of a new talent.

Footlights appear at the Queen's Hall on Saturday, September 7, and tickets are £8 and £7 (concessions). Doors open at 8 pm.
