Enter the mind-boggling world of Flossy and Boo’s fantastical, mystical, wondrous, fantabulous, tremendous, stupendous Curiosity Shop as Span Arts welcomes critically acclaimed South Wales-based theatre company performers, Anja and Laura, to the Queen’s Hall, Narberth, on Thursday, June 2, at 2 pm, followed by a workshop for big and little people.

Flossy and Boo have decided to run away from the circus to set up their own travelling curiosity shop, traversing the globe and collecting stories, songs and trinkets for their little cart. Flossy’s hobbies include twirling, collecting shiny things, allowing small (clean) birds to nest in her curls and bossing Boo about. Boo loves bubbles and custard. But not together, just mostly.

Anja, originally from Carmarthen, has enjoyed performing and creating her own theatre, singing both solo and as part of established Welsh acts and playing a multitude of instruments. Laura has had a varied career, performing in lots of eclectic projects as an actor, physical performer and dancer, as well as devising her own work.

These two joined forces in 2014 to create this exciting company, dedicated to creating new, imaginative theatre that leaves an impact on its audience.

With their new show, Flossy and Boo’s Curiosity Shop, Anja and Laura bring an interactive show for all the family, filled with songs, stories, music and bizarre characters, gaining them four and five-star reviews from a variety of venues, both national and international:
