The draws have been made for the first two rounds of the various Pembrokeshire Cup cricket competitions.

Cresselly, the holders of the Harrison-Allen Bowl, have a bye in the first round of the competition this year and will be home to either Herbrandston or Narberth in the second round on Thursday, June 3.

The first round starts on Tuesday, May 18, and the draw includes some ties featuring two Division One clubs, including Saundersfoot v Neyland on Thursday, May 20, and Herbrandston v Narberth on May 18.

Hundleton, Lamphey, Whitland, Pembroke Dock, St. Clears, Llangwm and Cresselly each have first round byes and as a result some Third Division teams and teams in the lower divisions are guaranteed a place in the third round.

This is because in the second round Hundleton will be home to Lamphey and St. Clears home to either Stackpole or Fishguard.

In addition, in cup competitions there is always a possibility of a minnow knocking out one of the big teams as such well known cup competitors as Carew, Cresselly and Haverfordwest have known to their cost on at least one occasion over the years.

In the Duggie Morris Cup, some First Division clubs will also make an early exit, with Neyland home to Carew in the first round on Monday, May 24, and Narberth home to St. Ishmaels on the same date.

Lawrenny, Cresselly, Pembroke and Hook each have first round byes.
