Tenby's state-of-the-art all-weather Tamar class lifeboat, the Haydn Miller, is currently undergoing some minor repairs in a boatyard in Holyhead as the work was unable to be carried out at the station. It is at Holyhead Marine Services for keel shoe repairs/engine oil leaks and SIMS update. The Tamar relief on duty at the resort at present is 16-01 - RNLB Peter and Lesley-Jane Nicholson - the vessel which did all the slipway trials when the new boathouse was being constructed.
