The wedding took place at St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, on Saturday, May 27, of Mr. Calvert Jones and Miss Zoë Jane Gill.
The groom is the son of Carole Jones, of St. Clears, and the late Mr. Gerald Jones, while the bride, an administration assistant, is the daughter of Mrs. Deana Skates, of Pentre, Rhondda, and the late Mr. Vincent Gill.
Given away by her sister, Mrs. Jadie Colley, the bride wore an ivory taffeta skirt, featuring an apron front, with heavily sequined sweetheart bodice. Bridesmaids were Coochie and Shakira Connolly and Taryn Williams (bride's cousins), while flower girl was Cara Edwards (groom's niece). The bridesmaids wore beautiful silver grey gowns with diamante detail on the bodice, while the flower girl wore an ivory dress with silver/grey roses on the skirt. Taryn Williams was also the soloist.
Best man was Mr. Gareth Roberts (close friend) and ushers were friends Chris Williams (bride's uncle), Nigel Edwards (groom's brother-in-law), Wayne Scourfield, Geraint James, Lyndon Jones and Steve Beeken (who was also the toastmaster).
Page boys were Master Lorcan Williams (bride's cousin) and Joshua Edwards (groom's nephew). A wedding breakfast was held at Heywood Mount Hotel, Tenby, followed by a barbecue in the evening.
A honeymoon was spent in Varadero, Cuba (Sandals Resort). The couple are making their home in Pleasant Valley, Stepaside.
