The 1st Narberth Cub Scouts celebrated their re- opening on the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Cub section of Scouting. The town's Mayor, Clr. David Norcross, and invited guests and parents attended the investiture of 14 Cubs at the Scout and Guide Hall on April 13. Children between eight and nine-and-a-half years of age are eligible to become Cub Scouts and there has already been an enthusiastic response from boys and girls in the area. The Cubs meet on a Thursday night between 6.15 and 7.45 pm for games, learning activities and the opportunity to participate in county events throughout the year. For further information, contact Cub Scout leader, Adrian Clague, on 01437 731640.
