New member of Narberth Town Council and the Mayor’s consort, Clr. Mike Platt, said he nearly ended up on the bonnet of a car whilst using the crossing point between the Farmers Arms and High Street recently.

Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, Clr. Platt said the paint had gone from the road markings and motorists were failing to slow down.

Members agreed to report the matter to Pembrokeshire County Council.
