Another outstanding batting performance from skipper Dave Lovell helped Lamphey tighten their grip on top spot in the Ocky White Pembrokeshire League on Saturday.
Opener Lovell dug his heels in after watching partners Daniel Sutton and then Craig Nutty heading back to the pavilion cheaply for four and one, respectively, to turn a 12 for 2 scoreline into an eight-wicket win over Folly Farm Kilgetty.
Leading by example, Lovell smashed five 6s and nine 4s in an unbeaten 91 as the reigning champions chased Kilgetty's tally of 156 for 7.
Gareth Lewis aided and abetted him in the task, carrying his bat for an excellent 52, which included a six and seven 4s.
Kilgetty had got off to a sound enough start, with Ian Poole (28) and Windsor Royall (12) sharing an opening stand of 39, while Phil Jones also kept the scorers busy with three 6s and five 4s in a superb knock of 55.
Mark Wood put on another 12 and Peter Johnson 23 for the Folly Farmers in the face of the bowling of Hywel Gibbs (4 for 50), but the final total was never going to trouble the in-form Lovell.
Simon and Mark Wood claimed a wicket each for Kilgetty.
Second placed Carew had to be content with a draw to keep the pressure on the leaders after recovering from a shaky start against Narberth.
The villagers looked in dire straits at 25 for 3, with Robert Hicks (12) and James Owen both back in the pavilion having made little impression on the scoreboard.
However, an unbeaten 62 from Nicky Scourfield and a fine half century in just 49 balls from Ian Sefton eased them to a more respectable 181 for 6 at tea.
Carew pulled out all the stops after the break, but an excellent 66 from David Johns helped Narberth hold out for a draw on 134 for 9.
Just a week after scooping the coveted Harrison Allen Bowl, Lawrenny maintained their winning streak with a 12-run victory over Haverfordwest.
James Buckle hammered off 53, Christian Phillips 37 and Chris Vincent 17 as the villagers piled on 173 for 9 in the face of some tight bowling from Darren Brick, who took 5 for 37.
Simon Cole took 4 for 31 to help skittle Haverfordwest all out for 161 in reply.
Beaten bowl finalists Cresselly returned to winning ways with a four-wicket win over basement battlers Whitland.
Whitland looked in trouble on 32 for 2 against the bowling attack of Lyn Richards (3 for 38) and Richard Harries (2 for 4), before a gritty third wicket stand of 55 between Paul Webb (57) and Daniel Griffiths (19) steadied the ship and eased them to a more respectable 160 all out.
However, the total was never really going to pose the big hitters of Cresselly any real problems, with them knocking off the requisite 161 runs for the loss of six wickets.
Burton's woeful season continued at Pembroke on Saturday, with the homesters notching up a seven-wicket win.
Spearheaded by the bowling of Nigel Griffiths (5 for 32) and Gwyn Griffiths (3 for 34), Burton slumped to 130 all out, although Roger Burns and Johnny Lewis did swim against the tide for a while, rattling off 29 and 25, respectively.
In a free-flowing batting display, Barry Evans stroked his way to an unbeaten half century to help the homesters to 131 and victory for the lost of just three wickets.

Ton-up Smith takes Manorbier to the top
Manorbier have taken over at the top of Division Four of the Ocky White Pembrokeshire County Cricket League with a good victory away to Llangwm Seconds at Pill Parks.
It was a game dominated by a sparkling century from Jeremy Smith, which included three 6s and 10 fours. He was given good support by Keith May (17), Jon Hughes (21) and 'keeper Phil Lawrence, who rattled up 36 runs, which included seven boundaries.
Manorbier were all out for 198 in the 35th over.
Facing this large total, Llangwm decided to go for broke. Leading by example was captain Simon Richards, who blazed 41 with two 6s and four 4s in quick time, but his innings was ended by some sharp fielding when he was run out by a direct hit from square leg.
This seemed to be the turning point in the match as Llangwm's batsmen started to lose their wickets cheaply.
Trevor Staley, accurate as ever, picked up 4 for 15 off seven overs, Keith May picked up 2 for 6. There were two wickets for John Hughes and one for Smith - Llangwm finishing on 104 all out.
