The rain last Saturday has already had the last word on some of the relegation and promotion issues, but for some teams there is still all to play for tomorrow (Saturday). It is possible, mathematically, for Haverfordwest to be caught by Carew, but in the minds of most people, Haverfordwest have already clinched the Division One title for the third season on the trot. The main interest at the top of the table will be whether Carew or Cresselly will finish as runners- up. At present, Cresselly trail their arch rivals by six points. On Saturday, Carew are home to Narberth and Cresselly are home to Pembroke. At the other end of the table, Hook are already doomed and Pembroke will join them in Division Two unless Haverfordwest Seconds finish in one of the top two positions in Division Two at the end of the season. As mentioned earlier, the Division Two title and promotion race is still wide open, with Llangwm and Burton fighting for a top two position above Haverfordwest Seconds. Llangwm lead the table with 322 points, two points ahead of Haverfordwest Seconds and 12 points ahead of Burton. Tomorrow Haverfordwest Seconds are home to Llangwm, where a win will win the title for Llangwm and defeat could mean another season in Division Two. Burton are away to Johnston, who are one of three teams fighting to avoid relegation. At present, Johnston are bottom with 181 points, Lamphey are only three points ahead on 184 and Herbrandston have a lead of 18 points over Lamphey. Tomorrow Lamphey are home to Herbrandston so that both teams have everything to play for, as both teams want to stay in Division Two next season. The Division Three title and promotion race is also wide open, but not quite so wide as Division Two. Fishguard lead the table with 300 points, Whitland Seconds are seven points behind and Llechryd still have a faint chance of promotion, even though they trail Whitland Seconds by 19 points. In the last game of the season, the leaders, Fishguard, are home to Llechryd in a top of the table clash and Whitland Seconds are home to Neyland Seconds, one of four teams fighting to avoid relegation. It will be interesting to see whether both Whitland and Neyland clubs attempt to strengthen their teams by fielding a number of first team regulars. The other teams anxious to avoid relegation are Camrose and Spittal and Maenclochog. Manorbier are already resigned to playing cricket in Division Four next season, but Camrose and Spittal are only 13 points above Neyland Seconds and Maenclochog just two points above Camrose and Spittal. Tomorrow, Maenclochog are away to Camrose and Spittal and both teams know that they must win or have the better of a draw to make sure of playing in Division Three next season. In Division Four, Cresselly are the champions, with Kilgetty as runners-up, as rain last Saturday prevented Crymych from making a last gasp bid for promotion. Lamphey Seconds will be relegated probably along with Burton Thirds who are 23 points behind Pembroke Seconds. Tomorrow, Burton Thirds are away to Lawrenny Seconds and Pembroke Seconds are home to bottom of the table Lamphey Seconds. Promotion in Division Five has been beyond doubt for some time, with Haverfordwest the likely champions and St. Florence runners-up. At present St. Florence are 79 points above third-placed Whitland Thirds. Tomorrow, St. Florence travel to play Llechryd Seconds, who look to be just about safe from relegation, while Haverfordwest Thirds are home to mid-table Camrose and Spittal Seconds. At the other end of the table, Hook Seconds are relegated and it looks as if Stackpole Seconds will also be relegated as the Stackpole team are 28 points behind Llechryd Seconds. Tomorrow, Stackpole Seconds are home to Hook Seconds. If Stackpole Seconds are relegated, the club's third team will be unable to play in Division Six next season. The Division Six championship has been settled, with Herbrandston Seconds the champions. Haverfordwest Fourths, Narberth Thirds and Crymych Seconds are fighting for second place and promotion, with Haverfordwest Fourths the most likely to succeed. Tomorrow, Haverfordwest Fourths are away to Stackpole Thirds, Narberth Thirds are away to Llanrhian Thirds and Crymych Seconds are home to Fishguard Seconds.
