The marriage took place recently at Carew Wesley Methodist Chapel of Mr. Simon Hosker and Miss Nerys Hicks.

The groom is the only son of Paul and Carol Hosker, of Cresselly, while the bride is the only daughter of Melvyn and Bronwen Hicks, of Redberth.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a Romantica ivory dress, with a threequarter-length veil, and carried a bouquet of calla lilies and wild flowers.

Bridesmaids were Kimberley Griffiths and Claire Cherry (school friends), who wore aubergine strapless knee-length dresses and carried fuchsia pink gerbera bouquets.

The best man was Paul Hewett (college friend), while ushers were Keith Whitbay (groom's cousin), Jonathan Birkett (school friend) and Russ Jarvis (college friend).

The ceremony, conducted by Rev. Alan Jenkins, was followed by a reception at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel in Narberth.

The couple honeymooned around Spain and France in their VW camper van and are making their home in the local area.
