At the October meeting of Cresselly and District Royal British Legion, the speaker was Tom Lloyd, of Freestone Hall. His illustrated talk on the 'Paintings of Pembrokeshire' was most enjoyable.
The approaching Remembrance events and the branch Poppy Appeal were discussed.
This year's Remembrance Service will be on Sunday, November 9, at St. Mary's Church, Carew Cheriton, at 3 pm.
Those wishing to join the march to the church should meet at the Carew War Memorial at 2.30 pm.
Next month's branch meeting will be on November 19 at 7.30 pm in Carew Wesley Youth Club.
